How can I get past the maid who keeps chasing me off?
1 of 23: She takes one look at you and decides you have no right to be here.
2 of 23: Well, she's wrong, but how are you gonna convince her?
3 of 23: Have you tried the door of every other room around?
4 of 23: 763 will open up.
5 of 23: It's the cleaners' supply and locker room, so look around for something you could use for a disguise.
6 of 23: The rightmost locker along the back wall has a uniform in it, but it's not complete.
7 of 23: Search the other lockers.
8 of 23: You need to get the Bow Tie from another locker.
9 of 23: Use it on the uniform to put it in place.
10 of 23: That's still not all, though. Remember where you are.
11 of 23: This is the Hotel Plaza, and you'll need the hotel's insignia on the shirt's front pocket for it to be taken for an official cleaner's uniform.
12 of 23: Where might you get a fancy colored letter that you could stick to the uniform?
13 of 23: You'll need to cut out one of your own.
14 of 23: To do that, you'll need a pair of scissors and something to cut.
15 of 23: Cutting a regular piece of white paper wouldn't give you the colorful letter cutout that you need.
16 of 23: Why not try cutting a big P out of a magazine?
17 of 23: To be specific, you need the Scissors from Jenny's apartment and the Magazine from Nick's home. If you don't have them yet, it's not too late to go and get them. (Remember that you can get the travel map in the nearby elevator.)
18 of 23: Use the scissors on the magazine in inventory to get a nice big red P.
19 of 23: However, you need to figure out how to make the P stick to the uniform. It would be embarrassing if it fell off while you were talking to the maid.
20 of 23: No need for big wads of chewing gum this time. Some simple tape will do the job.
21 of 23: You need the Sellotape from Jenny's apartment building.
22 of 23: Use it on the letter P in inventory, then use the sticky P on the uniform.
23 of 23: Now just wait while Nick decoys the maid in an FMV scene.
