Conspiracies Hints
How do I travel to other areas?
of 9: You need to get the big rotatable travel map in order to do that.
of 9: Each area you can visit in the game has its own gimmick to click on in order to bring up the map. In Nick's apartment building, it's the elevator doors.
of 9: Once you can leave Nick's apartment, explore the small maze-like hallways to find the elevator. It's not a very complex area, but I'll give you a map for it anyway.
of 9: Click on the elevator to bring up the travel map cube. (NOTE: This isn't supposed to work unless you've gotten the Map object from Nick's apartment, but I found that it wasn't necessary.)
of 9: Left-click and hold, then move the mouse left or right to rotate the cube so that you can see all four of its sides.
of 9: You can only travel to an area if it's marked with a large red dot. You can point the cursor at a dot to get a small thumbnail image and the name of the place you'd end up at if you clicked on the dot.
of 9: The only dot on the map at first is Nick's home, which is where you already are. To get more destinations, you need to examine certain items and talk to people in other places.
of 9: To get started, find out how to arrange a meeting with Thanos Pekas.
of 9: NOTE: Sometimes when you click on the elevator, Nick will say "I must do something else first." This almost always means that you need to call Thanos Pekas. Once you do, you're free to leave.
