How do I use the vid phone?

  • 1 of 9: Have you tried clicking on your TV or tabletop computer and choosing "Vid Phone" from the options?
  • 2 of 9: Unfortunately, Nick finds it impossible to press the phone's number keys, and he doesn't explain why.
  • 3 of 9: As it turns out, you need a Vid Phone Card.
  • 4 of 9: Once you have it, select it from inventory and then click it on the terminal that you're wanting to call from.
  • 5 of 9: After the card is in its slot, click on the terminal and choose "Vid Phone."
  • 6 of 9: Now you can press the number keys to enter a phone number and then click on the button on the bottom right to place the call.
  • 7 of 9: Of course, you'll need to have somebody's phone number before you can do this. Randomly trying made-up numbers won't do anything.
  • 8 of 9: And do remember to take your card back after every call.
  • 9 of 9: NOTE: If you know an important number to call before you're supposed to, you may be able to do it early and skip one or more entire portions of the game. I *very* strongly advise against this, since the game probably wasn't programmed to handle this, and you may get stuck later on.
