Crime Stories: From the Files of Martin Mystere Hints
That was an awful lot of talk. Can you summarize?
Only generally; this much hot air tends to make me sleepy, and I kept dozing off. I'll do my best, though.
Basically, Eulemberg and Uben discovered that the Aztecs had a ceremony they called "aidou" that sent the soul out of the body temporarily, which eliminated the fear of death. This journey, which required the use of a "vessel" and a type of electric quartz, could also be used to send the soul into the body of another, thus theoretically allowing that soul to live forever by passing from one body to the next. (What a parasitic life!)
This is what Eulemberg and Uben argued about; Eulemberg wanted to try to duplicate the aidou, and Uben felt it would be unethical. Working on his own, Eulemberg managed to find some of the stones and one of the vessels and did manage finally to make the journey happen. The packages you sent out (by making that phone call at the end of Act 2) contain the "key" to the aidou. One of them was sent to Uben, and he just gave it to you.
