Crime Stories: From the Files of Martin Mystere Hints
What can I give to Malocchio?
of 10: He doesn't want scotch or even that snappy metal rod. You need to find something else, something more like the grimy junk he's got on the shelves here.
of 10: Go back into the alley and up the stairs. Is there anything here you can use?
of 10: Grab the boots in the lower right corner and give them to Malocchio --
of 10: -- but that only gets you a cheap chain. You need something more valuable, since he says that key is the most precious thing he has. (Or did he say it was hissss preciousssss?)
of 10: Go back up the stairs and look at the pile of dirt in the upper left corner. I wonder if there's something under there?
of 10: You're too weak to shift it. What you need here is a giant leaf blower.
of 10: Did you notice the ventilator up here? That would do the trick, if you could turn it on. Try the switch down by the door to Malocchio's place.
of 10: No good; it must be shorted out. (But that's definitely the right switch; Martin/Alfie says it goes to a fan or something.) We need a bit of wire to jump the circuit.
of 10: Go back out to where Terry is and rummage through the wreck of a car behind him.
of 10: Take a wire from the "hood" of the car and use it on the switch, then use the switch. Go upstairs and find a nifty pocket watch under the "scrap yard remains." Yay!
