How do I find Putak?

  • 1 of 22: You won't be able to find Putak until you have solved all the puzzles at the Merari Palace.
  • 2 of 22: Perhaps talking to Bok would help.  Bok is still standing in the same place as before.  Starting from where you just exited the lift into the Nehli tree, move forward two more times, then turn to the right to find Bok. 
  • 3 of 22: Bok tells you that Putak lives in the First Tree, and is accessible only by yamax.
  • 4 of 22: Earlier in the game, Bok mentioned something (briefly) about a yamax.
  • 5 of 22: He mentioned the story of "The Hungry Yamax and Three Kracklenuts."
  • 6 of 22: Hmmm...  Could be that the yamax loves kracklenuts.
  • 7 of 22: Have you been anywhere in the game where you've found any kracklenuts...
  • 8 of 22: ...or their remains?
  • 9 of 22: There was a kracklenut shell sitting by the firepit outside one of the exits from the Nehli tree.
  • 10 of 22: If you walk right up to the firepit, it's possible to hear a yamax in the distance.
  • 11 of 22: Perhaps if you had some kracklenuts, you could attract a hungry yamax.
  • 12 of 22: The proper place to attract a yamax is at the firepit...
  • 13 of 22: ...except if you try to place the kracklenuts in the firepit, Call says "They won't be able to see the kracklenuts from up there".
  • 14 of 22: Can you think of a way to enhance the kracklenuts in a way that could attract the yamax?
  • 15 of 22: Does the old firepit give you any ideas of how someone could have attracted the yamax previously?
  • 16 of 22: Roasted kracklenuts would be much more fragrant, wouldn't they?
  • 17 of 22: You won't be able to use the firepit for roasting, though.
  • 18 of 22: Have you seen anyplace with an oven, or some other appropriate cooking spot, elsewhere in the game?
  • 19 of 22: What about at Kahleena's house? 
  • 20 of 22: Place the tin of kracklenuts in the pot outside of Kahleena's front door.
  • 21 of 22: After they have been roasted, take them back to the Nehli tree and place them in the firepit. 
  • 22 of 22: When you see the yamax, click on it.  Enjoy the ride!
