How do I open the manhole?

2 of 4: There is a strange sort of keyhole in it.
3 of 4: Looks like you'll need some sort of key. Have you seen anything like that around here?
4 of 4: The key to the manhole cover is hanging outside -- on the edge of the tall vertical stone slab. Use it to unlock the manhole cover.
