The Crystal Key Hints
Patches & Tech Info
Right off the shelf, The Crystal Key had a fatal bug. The publisher (Dreamcatcher/Adventure Company) realized the problem almost immediately after publication, and released Patch v1.1. You will probably need to start over after installing the patch because your previous saved games may be corrupt.
Symptoms: After saving a game and then trying to use the "Restore" option, there is an error. Returning to a world that you had previously jumped from causes a crash.
Several other patches have been released since the first one including:
Bookfix - corrects glitches with the Gatehouse bookshelf
Sunlight - corrects crashes when the sunlight graphic file tries to load
Letterbox - help for more powerful computers - lets you run higher resolution graphics
