CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder Hints

How do I analyze the evidence?

  • 1 of 4: In general, fingerprints and footprints go on the trace analyzer/computer, body fluids go in the DNA analyzer, and so on. See How do I use the lab equipment? for details on what the various machines do.
  • 2 of 4: On occasion you'll have some evidence that gets handled a little oddly.
  • 3 of 4: Not on this occasion, though. Put everything through the machine that seems the most logical. If a piece of evidence doesn't need any further analysis (like the photo of the blood spatter), Nick will tell you when you try to analyze it. If you're playing with the evidence tag help turned on, this will turn the item's tag red to tell you you're done with it.
  • 4 of 4: When you get Nathan's shoe (after finding the bloody footprint in the hall behind the body), there's an obvious stain on the bottom of it. To prove what it is before you swab it, spray it with LCV.
