How do I save my game?
You don't; the game does. That is, there's no mechanism for you to save the game just whenever you feel like it. Rather, it saves automatically whenever you move to a different location. The only way to make it save is to jump to, say, the lab and then quit. And you can't reload a previous save spot; the only thing you can do here is start the case over again from the beginning. But I've never discovered any unrecoverable mistakes -- that is, if you forget to do something at the beginning of the case that's required to solve the case, either you can do it at the end of the case or the game won't go on until you do it.
