CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder Hints
How do I analyze the evidence from Michael's apartment?
of 9: Analyze the garbage bag the same way you analyzed the shred from Carrie's apartment --
of 9: -- that is, run it through the chemical analyzer.
of 9: The knife has a stain on it, though it's not real obvious.
of 9: Try turning it around to look at the other side of the blade, then spray with Luminol to reveal the blood and swab it.
of 9: The folder has two things to tell you. Turn it around to see what it has to say.
of 9: There's a fingerprint on the back, revealed with Ninhydrin. Compare it with any fingerprints you have.
of 9: And there's a screwdriver inside, which you can retrieve by turning the folder left to right. Why would anyone hide a screwdriver?
of 9: Screwdrivers are designed to loosen or tighten screws, but they can also be used like tiny crowbars to open, say, locked drawers.
of 9: Put the screwdriver in the comparison microscope alongside the mold you made of the pry marks on the desk in Carrie's apartment.
