CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder Hints
How do I process the evidence from the camp site?
1 of 7: Put the syringe and the insulin bottle in the chemical analyzer to make sure they're just insulin. You'll need to do this at the mobile unit; once that's done, you can go to the actual lab for the rest of the work, and in fact you should; the mobile unit doesn't give as complete results as the brick-and-mortar lab.
2 of 7: The cigarette with the lipstick on it is clearly a commercial butt with a filter. Put it in the chemical analyzer to get the lipstick formula, in case we come up with a match.
3 of 7: The other butt (the one you found at the campsite after the body was removed) is hand-rolled -- and what's that white powder on it?
4 of 7: Collect the powder with the adhesive specimen mount, then run both butt and powder in the chemical analyzer.
5 of 7: You don't have anything to compare the tire track and the two boot prints to yet, but put each one in the trace computer and search for matches.
6 of 7: After you talk to Dr. Robbins in the morgue, he'll give you more evidence. Put the jimsonweed seeds in the chemical analyzer.
7 of 7: As for that threatening note, there's nothing to do with it until you have some handwriting to compare it to.
