Culpa Innata Hints

How can I translate the text on the back of the Bogdanov's photograph?

  • 1 of 11: You're going to need to find something to compare the characters to.
  • 2 of 11: It's written in Cyrillic, which to the people of Adrianopolis would be an ancient language.
  • 3 of 11: So, check somewhere ancient to find a dictionary.
  • 4 of 11: Now head back to your computer in your office, and compare the translation table with Bogdanov's scribbled note.
  • 5 of 11: You can do this in the Decryption menu -- place the translation table in the left pane and the note in the right pane.
  • 6 of 11: The solution here is simply replacing each letter.
  • 7 of 11: Thankfully you don't have to repeat each instance of A or E. Once you replace one A, all other A's will change too.
  • 8 of 11: Repeat this for every letter, even the ones that don't change such as T and O.
  • 9 of 11: Phoenix will start talking once you're finished, so if she hasn't, check it all again to make sure no letters slipped you buy.
