What do I do with the computer in room 9-03?

  • 1 of 14: This is a fairly large puzzle that requires some mucking about in other rooms as well as you having completed all of the kiosk puzzles and knowing the statement you're given at the end.
  • 2 of 14: Remember the phrase in that puzzle. CHAOS BECOMES PEACE.
  • 3 of 14: The word CHAOS is being projected onto the wall by the lasers.
  • 4 of 14: You need to turn that word into the word PEACE, by use of the computer system.
  • 5 of 14: However, flipping the switches around to make words isn't going to help.
  • 6 of 14: You need to make a different word. A word that can tie CHAOS and PEACE together. In fact, a word that can tie any two factors together -- think mathematically.
  • 7 of 14: Two apples to one apple is a ___ of two to one.
  • 8 of 14: That word can be found in room 10-01.
  • 9 of 14: You need to play with the left and right switches until the word RATIO is spelled out.
  • 10 of 14: Use the left switch until the odd letter spaces are R-T-O----.
  • 11 of 14: Then move the right switch until the even letter spaces are A-I------.
  • 12 of 14: One half of the letter O might not be visible, but once the rest of the word is sorted, it should correct itself automatically.
  • 13 of 14: This will change the word on the wall to PEACE.
  • 14 of 14: It will also open up room 9-02, which was previously locked.
