How do I figure out the Gong Puzzle?
1 of 12: If you haven't found the Gong Puzzle, look on the entry level at the Face.
2 of 12: The gongs are arranged on the walls of this room.
3 of 12: Try clicking on them. Different symbols appear on each gong. The object is to hit the gongs in a special order.
4 of 12: Have you gone down the steps yet?
5 of 12: When you first walk down the steps (underwater), move your cursor to the floor and zoom in to look at the symbols there.
6 of 12: Each gong represents a profession (or caste), as does each of the floor sets of symbols.
7 of 12: Translating the symbols will give you practice using them.
8 of 12: To get you started, the first gong to the left of the entry translates to: Merchant gives goods to people.
9 of 12: The floor symbols translate from left to right: Laborer (or worker), Merchant, Warrior, Scholar, Judge.
10 of 12: Ring the gongs in that same order.
11 of 12: The next hints contain the full answer.
12 of 12: Walking around the room to the left of the doorway, number the gongs from 1 through 5. Hit the gongs in this order: 2, 1, 4, 5 and 3.
