1 of 5: You were sent out of the town for a specific reason.
2 of 5: Go where you expect the body of the fallen monk.
3 of 5: There's no body there, but there is a bandit who tells you that he has eliminated the monk's body.
4 of 5: There is no way to avoid the fight, so win it!
5 of 5: Search the robber and you will find the cassock of the monk (his only belongings).
