1 of 4: A couple of things to try if you can't find anything to do:
2 of 4: -- Scour the scene for hotspots, especially dark areas. Look for the little wrench that means you need a tool like the lamp, or the little magnifying glass that means you can look closer.
3 of 4: -- When you get new equipment (especially the EVP/EMP Glasses), revisit areas to see if you find something new.
4 of 4: -- Once you have the ability, change eras. The solutions to many problems are to be found in other times.
