Dark Fall II: Lights Out Hints

I can't read the poem on the first page.

  • It says:
"Hands behind hands, growing paler and paler,
    As in a mirror a candle-flame
Shows images of itself, each frailer
As it recedes, though the eye may frame
    Its shape the same.
    -- Thomas Hardy"

This is a verse from the poem "Old Furniture." It's talking about looking at well-used furniture and sensing the people who've used it in the past. It's about nostalgia and history, or maybe it's about the ghosts of the past. It fits in with the game very well, though Benjamin must be a pretty weird guy if he uses it as the dedication of his journal.
