Dark Fall II: Lights Out Hints
I can't read the recipe for Chicky Chow. What does it say?
Not all of the recipe is readable, but here's what shows:
1 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
4 carrots, thinly sliced
4 green onions, sliced (including the green part)
3 stalks celery, sliced
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon sugar
1/3 cup light soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
8 ounces bean sprouts
8 ounces water chestnuts, sliced
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup water
Heat oil in skillet and brown chicken. Put chicken and rest of ingredients (except for cornstarch and water) in a crockpot. Cover and cook at LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl till smooth and add to crockpot. Turn heat to HIGH.
There it breaks off, since you can't scroll down to see the rest of it without triggering Mitsuyo's notes. My guess is you continue cooking till the sauce is thick, then serve it either as is or over chow mein noodles. Personally I'd use regular chicken broth and soy sauce, real ginger, and no pepper flakes, but that's just me.
