Why are all the dates backwards?
They're not backwards; they're just written European style, and a more logical way it is at that. The American style is month/day/year; the European style (or one of them) is day/month/year. So in America it's 8/6/04, in Europe it's 6/8/04, and they both mean August 6, 2004. Get it?
