What's with the funnel on the wall in the coal store?
1 of 2: You may have seen these in old war movies, especially ones about submarines. It's a blower, a primitive method of communicating without electricity. It functions much like two tin cans on a string, but with the added fun of producing a loud high-pitched squeal when you blow into it. Fun!
