Shooting this weapon normally is kind of pointless. The barrels shoot one at a time, starting with the left one and progressing right each shot. However, the alternate shoot function (Z key) is much more useful! This will fire all of the barrells at once, creating four shots of energy that can do damage. It's good if there are lines of enemies coming toward you. But it's not that powerful, and it's a big energy consumer.
