Deus Ex: Human Revolution Hints

Investigate the penthouse apartment.

  • 1 of 8: TIP: Before you do anything else, look for a free Praxis kit in the sewers under the Hung Hua Hotel.
  • 2 of 8: Use the stairs on the west side of the hotel's roof to get down to level 2 of the Kuaigan District, then go to its SW corner to find a door that leads to the Youzhao District.
  • 3 of 8: Using the area map, navigate your way to the NE section of the district, where you'll find the entrance to the apartment building you're after just south of the entrance to the metro station.
  • 4 of 8: The guards at the entrance won't let you in, so look around for a way to sneak in.
  • 5 of 8: Once inside, you'll need to reach the room that has the computer you need to hack in it.
  • 6 of 8: Move away from the wall hole to make sure you're not seen, then pick up all the Nuke and Stop! software items near the computer in case you need them.
  • 7 of 8: The computer's security is only level 1, but it's a heck of a hack nonetheless. Be sure to quicksave first, and use Nuke and Stop! if necessary to complete the hack.
  • 8 of 8: Soon after you read the computer's first email, you'll get the next objective.
