How should I deal with them?
1 of 9: As will be the case throughout the game, you can try to shoot them down or you can try to sneak past them unseen.
2 of 9: Right after you go through a door, they'll kill a scientist on the upper walkway, then enter the room from there. They'll then go down the stairs and check around for hostiles (meaning you).
3 of 9: The best way to start is to run over toward the stairs while they're busy killing the scientist, then crouch down.
4 of 9: If you want to kill the soldiers, move to a spot that's about halfway along the stairs' side wall.
5 of 9: That way, you can quickly shoot down the first soldier right after he comes down the stairs and before he spots you. The second one should move into view before long, though he may fire at you (ineffectively) first.
6 of 9: After you kill both soldiers, pick up their guns. If you can't do so because their bodies are in the way, move them aside like you did that crate.
7 of 9: If you'd rather sneak to the exit without being spotted, crouch-walk along the stairs' side wall until you can turn left and hide behind a large light panel with some x-rays on it.
8 of 9: Go into cover mode against the light panel, then edge over to the left as far as you can. Move the mouse around until you can see the soldier who's standing nearby and looking your way (but not seeing you since you're under cover).
9 of 9: Soon after that soldier turns around and starts walking away, come out from cover and sneak over to the stairs. You should be able to go up them and through the exit doors without being seen.
