Deus Ex: Human Revolution Hints
How can I get past all the laser alarm beams without hitting any of them?
1 of 12: To start with, go into cover mode against the large electronic display that's past the bottom of the stairs.
2 of 12: Edge your way over to its left end, then watch the moving laser beams go back and forth.
3 of 12: When it looks safe to do so, cover-jump to the short computer bank that's to the left.
4 of 12: Move around its left corner, then edge over to where you can cover-jump down to the next short computer bank.
5 of 12: Go around its corner and over to its right end, then quicksave. The cover-jump to the next computer bank is going to be a tricky one.
6 of 12: Try doing it as soon as the moving beams reach their right-most (farthest away from you) position.
7 of 12: Once you make it, edge over to the computer bank's right side, then leave cover mode and crouch-walk over to the side of the pillar with the two moving-beam emitters on it.
8 of 12: Move past the pillar and up to the wall, then go into cover mode and peek around the corner so you can watch the next room's moving beams.
9 of 12: Cover-jump to the short computer bank over to the right when it looks safe, then wait next to its left end in cover mode.
10 of 12: Watch the back-and-forth beams. Right after they sweep by you going right, stand up and jump onto the computer bank, then run across it and toward the wall that's over to the left.
11 of 12: Once you make it, crouch down and move forward until you come to two movable crates, then squeeze past them on their left side.
12 of 12: Past the crates, you can turn right and go over to the elevator that's underneath the security camera.
