Deus Ex: Human Revolution Hints

How can I take those two soldiers down sneakily?

  • 1 of 9: When it looks clear, go through the door and over to the railing, then use cover mode to move left along it and jump the gap when no one's looking your way (including the turret).
  • 2 of 9: Stay in cover mode until you're past the stairs, then crouch-run down the upper walkway until you find the top of a ladder on your right.
  • 3 of 9: Quicksave, then climb down the ladder, crouch down, and take cover against the nearby pillar. If you were seen, quickrestore and try again after waiting a few seconds.
  • 4 of 9: While staying in cover mode, go around to the right side of the pillar, then cover-jump over next to some crates. When it looks clear, cover-jump down to the next crate stack.
  • 5 of 9: Go around that crate stack's corner (the one you're next to) and over to the left edge, then wait for a soldier to come within takedown range.
  • 6 of 9: As soon as he's down, grab hold of his body and drag it into the little under-the-floor tunnel that starts right next to your crate stack.
  • 7 of 9: Hop out of the tunnel and go into cover mode against the same crate corner, then lure the other soldier over to you by letting him catch a brief glimpse of you.
  • 8 of 9: The best way to do that is to lean around the corner briefly (and repeatedly, if necessary) while he's walking toward the turret. Don't lean out for too long, though, or he'll turn hostile and start shooting. Another option is to jump up and down.
  • 9 of 9: Wait for him to come your way, then hit him with a takedown move and drag his body into the tunnel just like you did with the previous guy.
