Deus Ex: Human Revolution Hints
Find and confront Sandoval.
1 of 15: Crouch-walk down the stairs until you come to two green barrels, then jump onto one of them so you can get onto a narrow concrete ledge.
2 of 15: Use it to get onto a metal beam, then follow the beams to the back of the room.
3 of 15: Go down a board ramp and drop onto a large red container next to a plastic-wrapped bundle of boxes.
4 of 15: While keeping that bundle of boxes between you and the seated guard, watch the pacing guard.
5 of 15: When he's in the corner opposite the seated guard, drop down to the floor next to the red container's open door.
6 of 15: Go through the door and climb down a ladder, then go into cover mode at the corner ahead.
7 of 15: Watch as a guard walks off to the right, then sneak down the right wall and watch around the corner until the guard is out of sight.
8 of 15: Look over to the left for a crawlway that starts next to a green barrel.
9 of 15: Follow it along to reach a room, then use the next crawlway to get to the north end of the guarded area.
10 of 15: Quicksave before exiting the crawlway, then turn left and crouch-run up behind the guard ahead. (If he isn't there, he'll probably be behind you, and will see you. Quickrestore and wait for him to walk by, then go get him.)
11 of 15: Knock him out with a takedown move, and make sure his body is close enough to the laser alarm grid to keep it deactivated.
12 of 15: You need to turn right past him and go around to the door to Sandoval's room, but there's no way to do that without setting off a prox mine and getting the alarm sounded.
13 of 15: You might as well shoot out the mine that's on the nearby bridge, then run for the door to Sandoval's room.
14 of 15: Open it to confront Sandoval. If you want to get some bonus XP, talk him out of committing suicide.
15 of 15: One dialogue path that works is: empathize, empathize, inspire.
