Deus Ex: Human Revolution Hints

How can I sneak by all the zombies past this door?

  • 1 of 12: NOTE: This is a *very* difficult sequence of moves to pull off, so quicksave frequently when you're in spots where you can't be seen.
  • 2 of 12: Go into cover mode to the left of the door as it opens, then watch for a chance to sneak up to the large crate that's just ahead.
  • 3 of 12: While in cover mode behind it, look ahead to a cart with a couple of crates on it.
  • 4 of 12: There's a gap in the right-hand railing just before that cart, so sneak-run over there and through the railing gap when you can.
  • 5 of 12: Down on the side walkway, go into cover mode against the wall and edge down to where you're under the next railing gap.
  • 6 of 12: Stay in cover mode there and watch the armored back-and-forth zombie. After he runs by you going left, jump through the railing gap, turn right, and move down to the forklift.
  • 7 of 12: Look across from it for a railing gap, then quickly go through it and enter cover mode against the wall. You may have been spotted briefly, so quickly edge your way down to the next railing gap and wait if necessary for "alarmed" to disappear from the radar.
  • 8 of 12: Watch the walkway ahead for another armored back-and-forth zombie. After he comes near you and then starts back the other way, jump onto the walkway and turn left.
  • 9 of 12: Go down to the green bin that's on the right side of the walkway, then drop through the rail gap that's next to it.
  • 10 of 12: NOTE: I found this last run impossible to do unseen without using the "Cloaking System" skin augmentation to become temporarily invisible. If you don't have that augmentation, you'll have to quickly make the run, then edge over to the next railing gap and wait until the zombies forget about you.
  • 11 of 12: NOTE: Another possibility is to use a silenced weapon to blow up the barrel that's over to the right, then wait for the alarm to die down. The problem with that way is that some of the zombies may end up in really inconvenient positions afterwards.
  • 12 of 12: Once you make it, edge along the wall to reach the last rail gap in the series. Unfortunately, jumping through it and going down to where you can jump over some crates to leave the area has the same "always seen" problem that the previous run did. Deal with it the same way you did that one.
