Diablo and Hellfire Hints
The Demon Crypt
After killing The Defiler, you will get a map of the Cathedral. If you read the map, you will see that you should put the map on the big grave in the graveyard. If you do, you will open the portal to another set of levels that have been added to Hellfire, The Demon Crypt. These levels are very hard, even at normal play level, so make sure your character is ready before going in. I would guess that a level 20 character with good equipment could handle it.
Trapped by magic in a room in the lowest level of the Demon Crypt lies Na-Krul. If you have searched the first three levels of the Crypt well, you should have found all three parts of the torn note. Make sure to carry all three at once for them to be joined together, and read well what they have to say. Na-Krul is the hardest thing to defeat besides Diablo if you just pull the lever to let him out. Instead, read the books in the proper order, and the door will open while leaving Na-Krul vunerable to some attacks. You can try reading the books in any order if you like, as there are only six ways to try and you will find the right way soon. Otherwise, here is the proper order:
1. In spiritu sanctum
2. Praedictum otium
3. Efficio obitus ut inimicus
In regular mode, a stone curse spell is helpful no matter what player class you are. Another good ploy is to use a Stone Golem, which will keep him busy while you attack from a safe distance. You will get a load of goodies from Na-Krul when he dies, not least of which is the prized Apocalypse Spell.
