Diablo and Hellfire Hints
The Chamber of Bone
The Chamber of Bone is reached through a special spiral stairway. This stairway is not revealed until you find and read a book, The Skeletal Tome, on a pedestal on the same level. This will dissolve the walls that shroud the stairway. Go down the stairs, and you will find a passage to an area with two side passages. Go to the end of each side passage, and pull the levers that you will find. Two rooms will open up, with more bad guys and some nice magic items. At this point, you will be able to open the door to the main room. It is packed with angry skeletons, so use your most effective mass weapon on them. Chain lightning is especially fun in this room.
After you clear the room, go on through to the back room. There will be a few more Horned Demons to kill, and you will see a book on a pedestal, which you should read. You will then learn the Guardian spell, which is a very nice spell to have.
