Diablo and Hellfire Hints
Garabad the Weak
You will find Garabad, a goat man, on about the fourth level. If you try to attack him, he will plead pitifully for his life. Here is the important tip for this quest: write down where he is and on what level! If you forget, you may have to search through several empty levels to find him, which is not fun. Come back to him after a little while, and he will give you a fairly good weapon. After you go down a level and kill some monsters, come back up to see him again, and he will try to attack you with his newest weapon. If he hasn't finished yet, you need to give him some more time, so go back to exploring the lower level. After you kill him, which should be easy, you get to keep the weapon.
