Diablo II Hints

Baal

  • 1 of 6: Baal is the new boss of the expansion set.
  • 2 of 6: He is tough to beat, as he can push you away with a new freezing wedge attack.
  • 3 of 6: Always keep a portal up in the Worldstone Chamber, either for retreat or in the (unlikely) event of your death.
  • 4 of 6: Bring a town fighter who can do cold damage, and outfit them with the best armor and weapon you can.  Jeweled or Runed items can be very good. Resurrect this fighter whenever they die.  You can also give them potions to help them survive longer.
  • 5 of 6: Try to use ranged attacks, or teleport in for a hit.
  • 6 of 6: Baal is a trickster -- watch out for his clone.  You can just defeat both, but if you examine the names, you may be able to tell which one is which. You only need to beat the real one.
