General Necromancer Tips

• When you are starting your Necromancer, remember that you have a limited number of skill points to available.  You will probably meet Diablo when you are near level 30 if you have been gathering experience well.  To have a good set of skills, plan on putting most of your skill points into one of the three pages, and most of what is left into a second page.  For example, of my first 30 skill points, I put 18 into Summoning and Control, and 8 into Poison and Bone, leaving only 4 for Curses.  You may decide to specialize in Poison and Bone, or maybe Curses instead.  In any case, the biggest mistake you can make is to evenly spread your skill points out over every page.  In that way, you might have only one skill level on each spell, leaving you with no powerful spells at all.  You must neglect most spells in order to focus more skill on the ones you want to use most often.
  
  As you assign your character points, remember to favor strength early on.  You should get to a strength of 80 so that you can wear most kinds of enchanted armor.  Dexterity is very important if you favor fighting directly, but a decent dexterity will always help your defense.  Put what is left over into mana -- a big reservoir is a must later on.  Each point you put into mana will give you two points of mana capacity.  Health will go up automatically through some potions you will find in the game, but you may want to boost it a little bit too.
