Skills: Summoning

  • The Druid's summoning skills allow him to form a spirit creature by command.  As no corpses are needed, these skills can be practiced in town.  You can only have one kind of vine, one kind of spirit, and one type of animal.  Ravens are always available.

Raven -- The Raven is the first summoning skill.  Unlike the other creatures, ravens have no life limit.  They only are dispelled when they have delivered all of their attacks.  This makes the Raven very useful with high level bosses that might toast your other minions.

Spirit Wolf -- The Spirit Wolf skill will allow you to conjure up a wolf whenever you need one.  More levels allows more wolves, up to a five wolf limit.  Knowing this skill also passively helps your Dire Wolves and Grizzly, so points in this skill are not wasted as you progress.

Dire Wolf -- This summoning skill allows you to call upon a bigger wolf.  These wolves can eat fallen enemies, charging themselves up in the process.  Three Dire Wolves are the maximum.

Grizzly -- This is the best spirit ally to have when the going gets tough.  You only get one, and they are fairly slow, but they last well and have a good attack.  Knowing the Grizzly skill gives a passive bonus to your wolves, as well.

Poison Creeper -- This little vine has teeth with venom.  It will poison the monsters that it finds, and may eat their bodies as well, which is a big plus when fighting any enemies that resurect.

Carrion Vine -- If you summon this vine, enemy bodies will be converted to health for you.

Solar Creeper -- A Solar Creeper will act like a Carrion Vine, except it will make mana for you.

Oak Spirit -- This spirit will amplify the life force of you and your helpers.

Heart of Wolverine -- This spirit will amplify the attacks of your helpers.

Spirit of Barbs -- This spirit will give you the effect of returning damage to those attacking you.  It only works with direct physical attacks, though.
