Diablo II Hints
Skills: Martial Arts
The Assassin has many martial arts skills available. They fall into two categories, the charge-up skills and the finishing moves. It is easiest to put a charge-up skill on the left mouse click, and a finishing move on the right mouse click. This makes both types available, even in the heat of a battle.
Charge Ups
Tiger Strike -- Tiger strike is probably your first charge up strike. It does good damage, and adds 100% extra damage for each charge added.
Fists of FIre -- This charge up strike adds progressively more fire damage to each strike.
Cobra Strike -- This is a must-have charge up, as it allows you to gain life and mana while still fighting.
Claws of Thunder -- This charge up is really a charge up! It packs electrical power into the target, which is then released by the finishing move.
Blades of Ice -- This charge up gives you progressive cold attacks, which can wind up freezing an area. This is very good with revivable minions.
Phoenix Strike -- Add an elemental aftermath to your finishing move. Meteor, Chain Lighting, and Ice Bolt are the results.
Finishing Moves
Dragon Talon -- Dragon Talon discharges the effects of your charge-up strikes, and adds a knock back effect of its own.
Dragon Claw -- This move requires that you have two claw-type weapons to use it. When you attack, you will get a double swing, each swing with amplified damage.
Dragon Tail -- This is another finishing move with knock back power, but this time fire damage is added on.
Dragon Flight -- This move lets you teleport in to deliver the blow. It is useful in some special situations.
