The Dig Hints

Is there any way I can get into the water here?

  • 1 of 18: Not with that sea serpent floating around.
  • 2 of 18: But if you could get rid of the serpent, then you could probably get into the water.
  • 3 of 18: You'll find something else to help you once you get into the room with the broken door.
  • 4 of 18: The canister in that room was featured in one of the museum displays.
  • 5 of 18: It's an explosive device.
  • 6 of 18: Why don't you try feeding the explosive device to the serpent?
  • 7 of 18: He won't eat it plain, but he might swallow it if it were in a prettier package.
  • 8 of 18: Like one of those turtles he's so fond of.
  • 9 of 18: You can't get a turtle to swallow the explosive, but you can probably hide the explosive in the turtle anyway.
  • 10 of 18: Once you have the explosive, the serpent will eat a turtle and spit out its remains when you go to the location on the water.
  • 11 of 18: You might want to use those life crystals you found here to your advantage.
  • 12 of 18: Try bringing the turtle back to life with one.
  • 13 of 18: You can't bring bones back to life if they're not in some kind of order.
  • 14 of 18: But you do have a pattern from which to arrange the bones.
  • 15 of 18: Take a look at the fossil in an adjacent location, and you should have a good idea of how to arrange the bones.  With a little trial and error, you should be able to arrange them properly.
  • 16 of 18: Use the right mouse button to rotate the bones and the left button to put them into position.  Once you've arranged all the bones correctly, the turtle will be labelled as a "dead creature," rather than just a pile of bones.
  • 17 of 18: Now, you can hide the explosive in the turtle.
  • 18 of 18: And use a life crystal on the dead turtle to bring it back to life.  The serpent will then come to eat the turtle, and then the serpent will blow up.
