Why is the front desk sparkling again?
1 of 3: As with a lot of the hidden object scenes, the front desk has reset itself and is ready to puzzle you again.
2 of 3: The second time you do a hidden object scene, you'll see a lot of the same objects, but there will be a different inventory item for you to find and keep. For example, the first time you did the front desk, you got a room key; the second time, you'll get a bunch of nails.
3 of 3: This is a good thing to keep in mind. If you find yourself stuck and nothing seems to be happening, try going around to some hidden object scenes you've already done to see if any of them have reset and are ready for you to do a second time.
