Discworld II Hints
What about some dribbly candles?
of 20: You'll have to get someone to make the candles for you.
of 20: Someone who's into adventuring.
of 20: Talk to the old woman in the wandering shop, after you try to take the "candles" on her shelf. She'll tell you what to do.
of 20: You need some beeswax.
of 20: There are some bees in the garden at Unseen University.
of 20: The beekeeper isn't going to let you touch his bees, though.
of 20: The old woman said you need to make the bees sweat.
of 20: With something that would make them want to drink.
of 20: Something hot.
of 20: Add it to their food.
of 20: Seen any hot food additives?
of 20: There's some chilli powder at Gimlet's in the Shades.
of 20: Use it on the flowers.
of 20: Of course, the bees aren't going to be flying around once you've calmed them down. If you've already smoked the hive, exit and return to the Garden. The bees will then be flying around again, and you can add the chilli powder to the flowers now.
of 20: Put on your protection and smoke the hive again, and you can take some dribbly wax, which the old woman will turn into dribbly candles. How pretty!
