How do I fix HEX?

  • 1 of 15: It needs its bugs.
  • 2 of 15: Ants, to be precise.
  • 3 of 15: There's an anthill on XXXX (off to the left of the main Discworld map).
  • 4 of 15: Ants seem to show up when you least want them.
  • 5 of 15: Like during a picnic.
  • 6 of 15: So maybe you should have one.
  • 7 of 15: Now, take the ants back to the university and use the basket on HEX to try to get them to come out.
  • 8 of 15: You still need to entice them out.
  • 9 of 15: Ants like sugar.
  • 10 of 15: Or anything else that's sweet.
  • 11 of 15: Like honey.
  • 12 of 15: You can get the honey out of the beehives.  The basic idea is the same as what you did to get the wax -- use the petticoat and lit incense.
  • 13 of 15: But you also need a container for the honey.
  • 14 of 15: Get the pot from the Shades (next to the three men), and use it on the beehives once you've calmed the bees down.
  • 15 of 15: Finally, use the honey on the basket, and HEX will be running again.
