How can I find the right makeup for Death?

  • 1 of 19: The makeup artist tells you what she needs.
  • 2 of 19: You need a picture of the Elf Queen.
  • 3 of 19: She'll also help you find the Elf Queen ... sort of.
  • 4 of 19: Go ask a witch.
  • 5 of 19: There's only one witch in the game -- the one in the mortuary in the Shades.
  • 6 of 19: Now you can talk to the witch and learn the elves are in the forest
  • 7 of 19: Touch the stones to gain access to the elves' land.  As a side note, your luggage cannot follow you, so you'll need to put whatever items you need into Rincewind's personal inventory.
  • 8 of 19: Once you've gotten into the castle, you still need to take a picture.
  • 9 of 19: There's an impstamatic camera in Holy Wood.  But you need an imp to power it.
  • 10 of 19: Talk to the imp trainer, and he'll offer you an imp.
  • 11 of 19: The only problem is that it dipped itself in that magic paint, and went into the scenery.
  • 12 of 19: There isn't enough paint for you, but there should be enough for something a bit smaller to go into the scenery.
  • 13 of 19: And come back to you.
  • 14 of 19: Like a boomerang.
  • 15 of 19: You can get one (it's just called a "stick" in the game) by talking to the Dibbjla on XXXX.
  • 16 of 19: Put it in the paint and use it on the imp when it pops its head out, and you'll get back your imp.
  • 17 of 19: Use the imp in the camera and take the "loaded" camera and your costume into the stone circle.
  • 18 of 19: Put on the costume, and once you're in the castle, use the camera on the elf queen for the film you need.
  • 19 of 19: Show the film to the makeup artist, and Death will be ready for his debut.
