How do I find out about the Patrician's clerk?
1 of 8: Well, you could try talking to the Patrician's guards, but they're not too helpful. Try sniffing around.
2 of 8: Go behind the palace and wolf it to find the scent of the killer on one of the empty wine barrels (by clicking the "Serial Killer" scent on the magenta scent by the barrels).
3 of 8: The killer apparently got into the palace by hiding in an empty wine barrel. You might try the same method of entry.
4 of 8: Where have you seen wine barrels being delivered to the palace?
5 of 8: Go to the Cafe Ankh wine cellar and use the box of receipts to find out that the Patrician's Palace gets wine delivered and is ordering some soon. Use the crowbar on the wine barrels to hide in one and be taken to the Palace.
6 of 8: Once you're in the palace, wander the halls listening at the doors. Why do they talk so quiet?
7 of 8: Turn into a wolf and use the doors to eavesdrop on several conversations.
8 of 8: The one you want is behind the double doors, where Vimes's scent trail (navy blue) leads.
