How do I use the scents interface?
It acts like a third inventory. Any scent that's strong enough can be stored here for later comparison. To do this, double-click on a scent when you're a wolf and drag it to your scents box. This way you can identify strange scents by comparing them to others you've run across and so on. After you store a new scent, right-click and double-click on it to see if Lewton has any cogent comments to make.
The wolf state is useful for picking up and following scents, and for hearing quiet conversations, but not much else. It's a tough life without opposable thumbs.
