Discworld Hints
Where do I get that picture?
of 17: You should notice that all of the other pictures in this bar are of prize-winning animals.
of 17: You'll need to take a picture of another prize winner if you want to hang it in this bar.
of 17: So first try getting a camera.
of 17: The alchemist has one. If only you could get him to leave for a second or two, you could take it.
of 17: Just talk to him, and send him off to the livery stables to buy some corn. While he's gone, you can take the camera.
of 17: But you also need an imp to take the picture.
of 17: Lady Ramkin has some prize-winning animals.
of 17: (In case you don't know where Lady Ramkin is, read the bumper on the donkey cart at the livery stable, and you'll be able to get to her place.)
of 17: But it's not her animals that you're interested in. It's her prize.
of 17: Too bad she won't let you take the blue ribbon.
of 17: You can trick her into leaving her dragons for a while, though.
of 17: Try getting her to go into her house.
of 17: Knock on her front door, wait for her to open the door, and *then* go back around her house. (Don't ask me why you have to wait for her to open the door. I didn't write the game.) Now you can take the rosette.
of 17: All you have to do next is find an animal who wants to pose for the picture.
of 17: Perhaps one that isn't sheepish about posing.
of 17: There's a sheep behind Nanny Ogg's house. Trace the wool that she's knitting on through the hatch to the back.
of 17: Finally (at least for this part of the puzzle), put the ribbon on the sheep and take its picture.
