Should I change Arkhan's mood?
You can change Arkhan's mood by pressing your TAB key while playing.
While talking to others or searching an area, the mood setting will directly effect how Arkhan acts. Be careful using his dark side while talking to someone. It may result in an unexpected battle.
A basic rule of thumb is to keep Arkhan in a congenial, light mood most of the time. Especially when other people are around! When you get stuck on something, try putting him in a dark mood. It may make a difference.
There are some puzzles and situations in Dark Earth that must be handled with Arkhan's mood set to dark. The hints will tell you when.
