DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil Hints

I'm stuck in the Excavation Hall! Where am I supposed to go?

  • 1 of 15: Get your flashlight out and look around at the far end of the Excavation Hall.
  • 2 of 15: You see that lift system that leads up into the ceiling? You need to get that working again.
  • 3 of 15: Look around for any kind of controls or power generator.
  • 4 of 15: Near the lift system is a power cell generator and a video disk that explains how those work.
  • 5 of 15: This one seems to be missing something.
  • 6 of 15: It's missing the power cell that it requires to generate power!
  • 7 of 15: To install a power cell, approach the generator and click on its "insert" button while carrying a loose power cell.
  • 8 of 15: To get one, look around at the other end of the Excavation Hall.
  • 9 of 15: There's another power cell generator there, and this one has a cell in it.
  • 10 of 15: It's not powering anything of importance to you, so click on its "remove" button to take the power cell.
  • 11 of 15: TIP: You can now go back to the Ancient Ruins area with the big hole in the floor and get some health and shotgun shells off of the little lift thing that the generator was powering.
  • 12 of 15: Insert the power cell into the generator near the lift platforms to get them going.
  • 13 of 15: Then stand next to where the platforms appear and look down to see when one's approaching. Hop onto it just before it reaches your floor level.
  • 14 of 15: TIP: Watch to the left as you go up in order to find a side area with a suit of security armor. Once you have it, you can wait for a platform to come by for you to jump on to continue your trip to the top.
  • 15 of 15: When the lifts stop at the top, get off and go up the nearby stairs and dirt mound to get back on a regular pathway.
