How do I open the locked door marked "Artifact Storage?"
1 of 11: Have you explored past the unlocked door in Site 1 Research Access?
2 of 11: It leads to a room with doors labeled "Artifact Control" and "Offices." Both of those are open, so check 'em out.
3 of 11: If you go through the Artifact Control door, you'll be able to see into the Artifact Storage room through some unbreakable windows.
4 of 11: You see all that toxic green gas being spewed into the room? That's why the door to it is locked -- to keep you from stumbling in there and dying from the fumes.
5 of 11: Past the observation hallway is a control room, but you can't do anything in there until you find *two* power cells for the power cell generator.
6 of 11: You probably already got one cell from the Medical Ward (the same room you got Preston Glenn's PDA from). If not, go back up the elevator and get it.
7 of 11: The only other place you could find another power cell is past the "Offices" door you saw earlier, so go back and explore past it if you haven't already.
8 of 11: Climb the ladder and explore the Lab Systems room until you find a door in one corner that leads to Lab Administration. To get the second power cell, you'll need to get into the office that's locked with a keycard reader.
9 of 11: WARNING: On your way out of the offices area with the power cell, you'll get a sequence where your vision will go all red and staticky, and a bunch of zombies attack. In order to end this and unlock the doors, kill all the zombies.
10 of 11: Now return to Artifact Storage Control past the "Artifact Control" door and use the "insert" button on the power cell generator to get both cells inserted at once.
11 of 11: Then click on "vent gas" on the nearby computer panel to clear out the Artifact Storage room's air and make it breathable. Now its door will be unlocked, so return to Site 1 Research Access and try it.
