How can I use this weird new alien artifact that I start with?
1 of 5: Why not find the nearest creature and toss the artifact at it?
2 of 5: Unfortunately, it won't work at first.
3 of 5: The Bloodstone is your new replacement for the soulcube. Could you use the soulcube just anytime in the main game?
4 of 5: No, you had to wait for it to charge up first.
5 of 5: With the Bloodstone, you have to wait until you can kill a special "hunter" demon so that the artifact can absorb the demon's power and be usable. This will happen in the "Erebus Level 2" level, so just put the Bloodstone away for now.
