How do I get past the large hole in the floor near the start?
1 of 3: First, deal with the new-style lost soul (called a "forgotten") that rises from the hole.
2 of 3: Given your current weapon inventory, I'd recommend a close-up shotgun blast, though it would also be easy to take it out with a couple of quick pistol shots.
3 of 3: Then carefully make your way along the left edge of the hole where some of the walkway is still intact.
