Chaingun

  • Damage: 20 per round

    The chaingun is a significantly more powerful version of the machine gun. It can quickly shred just about anything at close or medium range. It's not bad for long-range combat, either. However, it has to spin up to speed before it can start firing, which is a delay you don't want in close-range combat. And that's not to mention the fact that it can use up an entire clip and need reloading in no time.

    Due to all this, the chaingun is best used in situations when you know what you're getting into (because you scouted ahead, got killed, and had to restore your saved game, for instance).
