Flashlight

  • Damage: 40 per hit
    First Found: Mars City Underground

    The flashlight's main purpose is providing illumination in dark places, though it can deliver a pretty good whack when used as a club. It's more powerful than the fists, but has nothing else to recommend it. If a monster approaches you when you have the flashlight in use, try to back out of its range long enough to pull out a better weapon. (You could hit a slow-moving monster with the flashlight and then quickly back away before it can hit you, but this is risky and time-consuming.)
